We promote resilience and self-awareness through engaging lessons, activities and projects. The building blocks of our curriculum are:

Mindfulness:

Students develop concentration, focused attention, and breath and body awareness.

Emotional Awareness:

Student empathy, compassion and self-awareness is supported through recognizing and naming emotions, and the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

Inquiry:

Incorporating mindfulness and emotional awareness, students learn to identify and question thoughts causing stress and difficulty, look at situations from a variety of perspectives, and discover new possibilities.

Our curriculum is based in Inquiry-Based Stress Reduction (IBSR), a scientifically demonstrated method for reducing stress.
